Welcome foreign fencers

The fencing pistes of the Cercle Militaire are a testament to the military fencing halls of nineteenth century Paris. Our fencing hall was built in the basement of the Cercle Militaire in 1925 and today benefits from the peculiarity of being a sports club open to civilians as well as to military personnel.

The locale has been entirely refurbished and conforms to up-to-date health and safety measures. The refurbishment has resulted in creating the most stunning fencing hall in Paris and is one of the grandest fencing rooms in the country.

Our fencing room has the well-earned reputation for openness to all, offering training to over 100 youths and children by three resident fencing masters, as well as fencing bouts, competitions, regular group lessons and adult training. .

We are always pleased to welcome fellow fencers from around the world whether just passing or staying in Paris for longer periods. All fencing enthusiasts are sure to find the warmest of welcomes with us.
